Ray Hotel

RAY HOTEL is an elegant highlight within the urban fabric. It embraces its surroundings by opening its interior to the city. It is simple, logical, and fresh. The client sought to transform the former two‑star hotel into a five‑star destination with a restaurant and a rooftop garden, creating a new landmark for the region.

The street garden is an extension of the lobby. It integrates the hotel with the sidewalk and the city beyond. The restaurant entrance allows guests to experience the effect of the concrete volume opening into a tall, expansive space. By moving the entrance to the side, the front patio remains uninterrupted and more unified in its operation. Tall roll‑up doors allow large openings toward the outdoor patio.

The hotel offers two types of living areas: lofts overlooking the city and suites overlooking the Aegean Sea. The rooftop bar can be accessed either by the hotel elevator, with controlled security, or by a dedicated elevator that leads directly from the lobby. It features an open‑air summer bar, dining areas, a jacuzzi for guests, and a yoga corner above the concrete tower, with views toward the surrounding mountains. The basement hosts the hotel and restaurant kitchens, along with all support spaces.
