Located close to the coastline of Athens, Ipirotissa is a delicatessen offering an exclusive marketplace. The scope was to bring this already successful family store to a current look, compatible in design sensibility with the high quality products they carry.

The new design is developed to respond to the to the store’s growing needs, and a better flow of spaces to enhance the customer’s experience. To do so, we first worked on creating a more efficient circulation, one that circles the store from entry to exit. The program features a variety of spaces, including a traditional bakery, a freshly cooked food corner, a pastry shop, a fresh produce department, a cheese department, a fruit and sushi bar and a select supermarket.

Each space has its own distinct elements that clearly distinguishes one retail area from the next. The efficient circulation leaves no room for under displayed products and at the same time enhances the
grocery experience.
